Q1: How do you feel about the smoking ban on campus?
Response: I think rather than ban it they should just make special areas for smoking.
Q2: Do you smoke?
Response: No.
Q3: Overall, how do you feel the smoking ban will impact the amount of people that smoke on campus?
Response: I don't think it will really change anything that much, I just think people will hide it better.
Q4: Why do you think the smoking ban was brought in?
Response: I think the smoking ban was brought in maybe because the smoking population is way smaller than the non-smoking population and they wanted to make the campus better for the majority.

Q1: How do you feel the smoking ban will impact campus in the long run?
Response: In the long run, I think hopefully people will realize it's just too much trouble to walk off campus to smoke or they have to trek up or down the hills and they realize they can't breathe. Maybe it's because they smoke all the time. That's what I think is going to come out of it if I think positively.
Q2: Even though you see people smoking, do you see less people smoking than before the ban?
Response: I wasn't here before the ban but I can tell you though at my undergrad, a lot of people smoked and I see less of that here. They allowed smoking at my old campus, but it was only in certain areas. My campus was pretty good at staying in those areas, but at the same time I saw people smoking everyday. Whereas here, maybe I'll see like one or two trying to hide around a building.

Q1: How do you feel about the smoking ban?
Response: We get it, but it really hasn't changed anything.
Q2: Do you smoke?
Response: Yes.
Q3: Do you even see anyone enforcing the smoking ban?
Response: No, there's not really anyone out here punishing anyone.
Q4: How do you think it will affect campus in the long run?
Response: I think they are trying to make it cleaner here and not as bad.
Q5: Do you think it's making it worse since there aren't the ashtrays that you could use in certain areas to smoke?
Response: Yeah, that's true I didn't even think about that.

Q1: Do you smoke?
Response: Yes.
Q2: Do you even see anyone enforcing the smoking ban?
No, I mean if they do then I would stop in front of them and say 'Oh shit, I'm sorry'.
Q3: How do you think it will affect campus in the long run?
Response: If no one is cracking down, people will continue to smoke. They will just hide more. I definitely don't smoke mid campus though because that's not fair to other people to smell smoke.
